Comet in the back yard.

Bittersweet--first berry burst out of their shell.

I want to make a wreath out of this stuff. It's gorgeous!

Wow, a lilac blossom in NOVEMBER! You would think this was taken in May. Just one hearty cluster standing up to the crisp fall temperature.

Ladybug convention on a Chinese Elm.

Does albinism extend to the insect world? I think I may have an albino ladybird here.

My sweet boy Comet resting in oak leaves.

surprising discovery made in the form of a lone violet. How strange to find one on such a cold November day amongst the fallen leaves. I might have missed it if it weren't for the purple pop of color

I love the sky! The cloud almost looks like a mountain peak. This is the view from our front porch.

I love that time of day when the sun is almost setting and illumates the trees. We need to appreciate these everyday wonders. So much beauty goes unnotoced.

November moonrise.

The leaves have all fallen off of this oak in the back yard. Lovely silhouette against a crisp evening sky.
As darkness intensifies the skyscape looks a bit more dreary, though still hauntingly beautiful.

As you can see I am still learning camera settings;-) I included this blurred photo because I thought it was cute how the moon took the shape of a heart. Like I said, I LOVE the sky!
